I think it is rediculous that so many black women feel they have no other choice but to sit in a beauty salon for an unreasonable amount of time just to get their hair done. I personally will cut all mine off before I subject myself to that level of poor customer service!
Well, actually I don’t remember spending 5 hours in the salon (cuz). Currently, I do spend about 2.5 hours which gives me some time to catch up on my reading or sleeping (under the dryer). Do I think the service could be improved. Yes, I think all businesses should continually work on process improvement. Am I dissatisfied, not at the moment. If I change now, I will probably pay more (not an option) or will not like the way my hair is done.
I am a single white guy and i went to a “holy convocation”where i was just one out of maybe about 4 or 5 white people among about 3 or 4 hundred or so blacks.anyways i noticed that alot of the woman had their hair straitened, which looked fine to me,but the woman with curly and ones w/braided looked fine too.this one woman that really stood out from the crowd had hair that was frizzy and randomly pointed in different directions.to me she looked really hot.i aint saying every woman would look good like that but i would just like to say that going to a salon isn’t always neccessary.i noticed that black woman seem to dress and smell nicer too.
